The Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s two benched, all-breed dog shows are set this year on Saturday, November 17 and Sunday, November 18. The shows, sanctioned by The American Kennel Club, will help raise money for a variety of canine-related causes. Prior beneficiaries of The Kennel Club of Philadelphia include Morris Animal Refuge, New Leash on Life USA, Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, The Utley Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
- Each day is a seperate and distinct dog show with breed group and Best In Show judging.
- Please understand you cannot bring your own dog to the show.
Come Saturday and/or Sunday to see Breed, Group and Best In Show judging plus top agility and performance dogs both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, to be broadcast nationwide at noon on Thanksgiving Day by NBC.
Dog Show weekend is preceded each year by National Dog Show Month in Philadelphia, including the National Dog Show Charity Walk (www.ndscharitywalk.eventbrite.com) and several other canine-focused events raising money for charity. Further information is available at www.NationalDogShow.com
Temple University research shows that families spend an average of 3 1/2 hours at the dog show. With the friendly ticket pricing of $16 for adults, $7 for children 4-12 and free for children 3 and under, the National Dog Show is the best entertainment value in the tri-state area.
