The Kennel Club of Philadelphia’s two benched, all-breed dog shows are held this year on Saturday, November 19 and Sunday, November 20. The shows, sanctioned by The American Kennel Club, will help raise money for a variety of canine-related causes. Prior beneficiaries of The Kennel Club of Philadelphia include Morris Animal Refuge, New Leash on Life USA, Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House, and the Utley Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Come Saturday or Sunday to see Breed, Group and Best In Show judging plus top agility and performance dogs in the ring each day. Saturday is The National Dog Show Presented by Purina, to be broadcast nationwide at noon on Thanksgiving Day by NBC.
Temple University Research shows that families spend an average of 3 1/2 hours at the dog show, making the National Dog Show the best entertainment value in the tri-state area.
